Reflect about the film and the book

1. SETTING: In the book the story happened in the italian village called Verona, in 15th cenury. And the new version represented on a film succeded in Verona Beach, in 21th century. They where in the modern city.
2.. IMAGERY: In the film the water symbolize the calm, relaxed situation without tension (beach), intimate moment between Romeo and Juliet (swimming pool and aquarium), and the end of the bad charecters (when it begins to rain). The fire symbolize the begining of battels between Capulets and Montaguers and the tragedy and the dead coming up. When the story happened in the day all was  more dangerous and unpredictable and unsafe.
In the night there was the moon, in this situation the environment was relaxed, calm and warm. Romeo and Juliet were thinking about them or they were together. 
3.. LANGUAGE. In the film all the charecters told in verse and in prose, but Romeo, Juliet and the Friar were who told more in verse. The narrator was the woman news reporte.  In the book all the charecters told in verse avery time. The narrator was a tird person who explain the story. He didn't appear in all the story.
4. THE FANCY DRESS PARTY. Romeo dressed up a knight armor, it means that he was a loyal, brave, and polite person. Juliet dressed up like an angel and it means taht she was very beautiful and pretty girl and she was so good.
5. ELEMENTS. In the film the chaectes used guns and cars but in the book Romeo and Tybalt and the other charecters used swords and helmets and armors.

ROMEO & JULIET SUMMARY

In  the town of Verona there were two families that hated each other. They called:  the Montagues and the Capulets. One night the Capulets made a party and Romeo with a mask he gatecrashed in it. There he met Juliet the Capulets' daughter. He felt in love at first sigh and she too.They wanted to get marry, but their families didn't want see among them. Romeo and Juliet got marry secretly. Then Tybalt killed Mercutio for Romeo's fault. And then Romeo killed Tybalt in a epic fight. Romeo was banished for the Prince of Verona because he didn't want more discusions and fights between Montagues and Capulets. When Juliet knows it, she went to find help in Friar advices. The Friar had a plan. With a potion Juliet would sleep two days pretending her dead and when she will wake up Romeo will be there and they could live together without problems. When she was in a grave Romeo didn't recive a note advicing the plan and when he arrived to the grave and saw the body of Juliet dead, he drank a poison potion and said: With a kiss I dead. And he dead. When Juliet saw the body of Romeo dead she wanted die and took a dag and hammered it into her estomac and Romeo and Juliet were die into the grave. Then the Capulets and the Montagues were very sad and decided to be friends and don't fight ever more.
